Who are you?

     So...you're probably wondering who I am, hence the reason you clicked the about me page.
Basically...my name is Mike Ledford, I'm from Anaheim, CA and I am a 20 year old photographer. But that bit of info doesn't really matter, what really matters is the reason you're here and that is pictures, pictures, pictures.
     I first started way back in the day one summer in 2007 when me and a couple buddies went to Glen Helen Motocross track for some riding and I had a JVC video camera that could take stills along with basic controls. I messed around with the camera for a couple hours and started to get really involved with how the camera and settings worked along with composition and all the creativity that was at my potential. From that point on I was hooked and photography became my new obsession. I bought my first digital SLR in 2009 and took it with me almost everywhere I went. As my experience and creativity grew, friends, relatives and friends of friends began asking me to shoot events and portrait sessions which lead me to start my first website Mike Ledford Photography.com. Only a senior in high school with not much experience, ya it failed. So I took some time off and bought a new camera, my current Nikon D300s, and started RevPhotos.com in 2010. Thus far, business is good, my photography is progressing quite well, and I'm enjoying every second behind the view finder! Everyday is a new learning experience and soon I hope this business can carry its own weight, wish me luck!

Do you have any goals, you might ask?

     Upfront and simply put, I started this page in hopes to progress my photographic works in a professional industry. Ultimately, I hope to have some of my work published whether it be magazines or on the internet for other companies. And as for RevPhotos? I love photographing portrait sessions, weddings, and events. To be a part of and to photograph the memories of important milestones in peoples lives is amazing to me, so I continue to improve to the point where I can shoot full time.
